Philosophy & Approach

While literacy is a cornerstone of my work, my approach is holistic. I intentionally weave STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) learning, creativity, music, projects, and place-based experiences into instruction—creating learning that is rigorous, engaging, and deeply human.

This philosophy supports:

• Whole-child development—academic, social, emotional, and creative
• Experiential and hands-on learning
• Project-based and inquiry-driven instruction
• Learning that connects home, community, and environment
